No stains are used on the wood, which is finished with a food safe mineral oil. As beautiful as they are functional, the Country Toys cutting boards are ¾-inch thick and strong enough to serve in your kitchen for many years to come. Some people use stands to display their cutting boards, using only one side and keeping the other in pristine condition.
